I drive through Garland regularly I stopped the other day and had Cashew Chicken. The meal was extremely good a fair amount of chicken Lots of vegetables I thought is was fantastic that I stopped in again the next day. I was surprised that a small town Chineses place would be this good
I didn't expect to stumble upon this place but I'm so glad I did. VERY fresh food and incredibly flavorful. Especially the veggies in my lo mein: crispy, bright, yummy, and a perfectly spicy sauce. Inexpensive Chinese food spots can be salty and heavy but that is NOT the case here. Someone took their time and it shows! The staff is warm and friendly, just as you would expect in this town. They definitely make you feel like they appreciate you giving them business!
Great food though this is not a five star restaurant . The bathroom , at least the men's is lacking. For this I would say 2 stars. The staff however were great, if you know Chinese even better for they speak it amongst themselves. This would rank about 4.5 stars, they are courteous and friendly. The food is quite good though more of a comfort like food. As like so many Chinese food places the food is like "cookie cutter". That said it is at least not bad and in fact quite good. This would rate 4 stars or perhaps 3.5. Overall I had to say 4 because 3 is to low but 5 is way to high. I will say this they have a large selection of food and I did pick a " comfort food" so this could have been the reason for the " cookie cutter" like food. If you decide to eat here be adventurous and try something new. I think it just might pay off. And FYI , the food was hot and made to order. A big plus also is you can see right into the kitchen, no hidden secrets here. If you wanted to you could watch them make your food right there . Good place I would return.
